About the Event
The world’s social and environmental challenges are causing significant disquiet around the world, and protests against inaction are mounting. Governments, markets, corporations and individuals are responding by embracing Impact, embedding it in every business, investment, policy and consumption decision. Impact is defined as the measure of an action’s positive or negative outcome for people or the planet. Hitherto, organizations have largely ignored their Impact due to, both lack of any comprehensive and standard methodology to measure it, and the failure of markets to value it. Since 2000, this is changing. There is growing recognition that we must value organizational performance not just on financial metrics but also on its social and environmental Impact.
To catalyse the Impact Movement, our Roadshow – #IMPACTMATTERS aims to accelerate and boost Indian organizations towards “Total Impact Performance,” enabling them to collaborate with global leaders on building Impact and fostering connections in impact financing and entrepreneurship.
